Website Redesign, Amtrak Ads, and the Holidays

Our website (www.aircut.com) got a little facelift over the weekend thanks to our talented web guys at SiM (www.getsim.com) Thanks Kirk and Matt! We have all spent a lot of time  thinking about website “stickiness” and scratching our heads over things like repeat visitors, bounce rates, ToS (Time on Site), etc. In the end, we decided that we’d jazz it up for the holidays, put in some cool before and after pics, and make a few other stylistic changes that enhance the product and maybe help folks understand a little bit more about how the AirCut works so they know before they buy. It will be for a little while until we find out if these enhancements work, but it is good to know we are moving in a positive direction. 🙂

In other news, if you live in the Milwaukee Area and take the Amtrak train to Chicago to go shopping (who doesn’t?), you will most likely see our ad at the train station. The AirCut can be a lifesaver around the holidays when you have no time to get a haircut while preparing for family to come over, when you just can’t run out because of a bad weather, or when you have to face the press after pretending a balloon carried your son away.

The AirCut makes a great gift for the gadget guru in your life. It’s a must have for the holidays!
